We are hosting Yoga classes
on Sundays
from 10:00 to 11:30
Nourish the Mind, Body and Spirit - Core Yoga & Pilates
Bringing the breath and movement together the focus is on
"Core" strength: abs, hips, thighs and butt using a blend of
Yoga & Pilates poses and exercises.
Meditation and relaxation techniques will be introduced as
well. You will leave the class with a stretched body,
centered mind, and inspired spirit.
Please bring mat or towel and wear comfortable clothing.

Artist of the Month
Mish-el Benjamin
Born in Orangeburg South Carolina.
Having the best of South Carolina and Philadelphia as a child gave
me a rare opportunity to be a girl who could run, hunt, and fish
with the freedom of country life and come back to the city with its
museums, orchestra, opera, experiencing these 2 worlds had a huge
impact on my awareness of white and black America at an early age as
well as my connection to nature. I am an avid organic gardener
suppor ting sustainable agriculture locally and globally.
Currently in Art residency program at Norristown Arts Bldg 2004 to
present(pagusgallery.com) just completed Installation/show March
2008.
I am a professional Organic Cook for health since 1990
retreats/class/private.
Schooled in Phila. and area art classes through Phila. Library and
Art museum through childhood years. Undergrad ed Phila college of
Osteopathic Medicine, MA Applied Psychology University of Santa
Monica, Center for Human Integration (deep tissue massage
therapist), Peace Theological Seminary 1985-present CE, Ordained
non-denominational Minister since 1987,(Outreach support to
community).
The paintings come out of my history of self, a record of my deep
response to nature, politics, and images of Spirit. I live currently
in Devon, PA., travel the world as much as possible to participate
in our Global community. I paint out of the Norristown Arts Bldg
(www.pagusgallery.com), It is my prayer that we are all touched by
our deepest knowing of our hearts, and able to follow where that
leads on our personal journeys and that the path serve in all ways
the greater good.
